The TESDA RTC-NCR 1st Quarter CY 2026 Advisory Council Meeting was successfully conducted on February 26, 2026 at the Regional TVET Innovation Center (RTIC-DBM),TESDA Complex, Taguig City. The activity brought together key representatives from government, industry, and academe, including Edicio Dela Torre; Danilo V. Ayap, President of Lyceum of Alabang; Eduard G. Ong of the Philippine Chamber of
Commerce and Industry; Engr. Leo Neil Famadico of Daikin Philippines; Ryan Roberto E. Delos Reyes of the Department of Labor and Employment–NCR; Vergel P. Soriano of TESDA CAMANAVA District Office; and Gretchel Listana representing Hytec Power, Inc.. RTC-NCR officials and staff were likewise present during the meeting.
The meeting aimed to present the RTC-NCR 2025 Technical Advisory Council (TAC) Accomplishment Report and the proposed 2026 TAC Workplan. The accomplishments highlighted strengthened industry partnerships, implementation of customized and enterprise-based training programs, and innovation-driven initiatives aligned with labor market needs. The proposed 2026 workplan outlined priority programs and strategic collaborations to further enhance training relevance, sustainability, and responsiveness to industry demands. Council members actively participated in the discussion and
provided valuable recommendations to support the Center’s strategic direction.
A key highlight of the activity was the oath taking of Mr. Ryan Roberto E. Delos Reyes as a new member of the RTC-NCR Advisory Council, completing the Government Sector representation. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment among members to continuously support RTC-NCR’s programs and initiatives for 2026, reinforcing strong multi-sectoral collaboration in advancing quality Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
