The TESDA Regional Training Center – NCR, in coordination with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Taguig, conducted a Fire Safety Awareness Seminar and Drill on March 26, 2025, at RTC-NCR Building 14, TESDA Complex, Taguig City. The activity was participated in by students from various programs, including PV Systems Installation NC II, Mechatronics Servicing NC II, Ship’s Catering Services NC I, and Visual Graphic Design NC III. The seminar was facilitated by FO3 Froilan B. Armenta and FO1 Aljon Palarca of BFP-Taguig.
The event aimed to equip students with essential fire prevention knowledge and emergency response skills, emphasizing the importance of safety preparedness. In line with Fire Prevention Month and the 2025 National Women’s Month Celebration, the seminar covered topics on fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and emergency response, followed by a live demonstration and hands-on fire drill. This initiative reinforced TESDA RTC-NCR’s commitment to promoting safety and disaster preparedness among its trainees.

The seminar highlighted the strong collaboration between TESDA and BFP in fostering a safety-conscious learning environment. With active participation from students, the event enhanced awareness and preparedness for fire emergencies.
