The TESDA Regional Training Center – NCR, in coordination with the Station EOD and Canine Unit (SECU) Taguig, successfully conducted a Bomb Awareness Seminar on March 27, 2025, at RTC-NCR Bldg. 14, TESDA Complex, Taguig City. The event was attended by RTC-NCR personnel and students from PV Systems Installation NC II, Mechatronics Servicing NC II, and Visual Graphic Design NC III. SECU Taguig facilitators, including PLT Reo B. Dimaiwat, PSMS Hector G. Aspa, PSMS Danhari Ferrer, PSSG Jun Jon Q. Mendoza, and PSSG Gregan Jeff Gawaban, led the session.
This initiative aimed to enhance awareness and preparedness in handling bomb threats, focusing on threat identification, emergency response, and evacuation procedures. Participants engaged in discussions and hands-on demonstrations, equipping them with essential knowledge to respond effectively in potential crisis situations. The event also aligned with the 2025 National Women’s Month Celebration, recognizing the vital role of women in safety and emergency preparedness under the theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas.”

The successful conduct of the seminar and drill reinforced RTC-NCR’s commitment to ensuring a safe and secure learning environment. Future initiatives will continue to strengthen emergency preparedness efforts, ensuring that RTC-NCR remains proactive in equipping its stakeholders with life-saving skills.
