Strengthening Partnership Between TESDA RTC-NCR and PUP Wired

TESDA RTC-NCR welcomed the officers of PUP WIRED for a courtesy meeting and the finalization of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration and align goals for future projects. One of the key highlights was the presentation of the 9th PUP WIRED Skills Competition for Building Electricaf Wiring and Motor Controls. This initiative aims to enhance students’ technical skills and promote excellence in electrical engineering and automation.

The meeting was held on March 25, 2025, at RTC-NCR Conference Room, TESDA Complex, Taguig City. It was attended by PUP WIRED Officers, Professor Benson Pulga from the Electrical Engineering Department, Eugene P. Agcaoili as the RTC-NCR Center Administrator, Jerry 0. Taroy as VIS Designate, and Rita Mae P. Jordan-Gamboa, TESD II Specialist. Discussions focused on strengthening industry-academe partnerships.

The finalization of the MOA marks a significant step in solidifying the collaboration between TESDA and PUP WIRED. This agreement will help provide Higher Education Institution (HEI) with training opportunities and hands-on training to meet the industry standards. Future activities will focus on refining training programs and expanding skills competitions. Both institutions remain committed to enhancing technical education and skills development.
