TESDA Regional Training Center – NCR, in partnership with the Department of Health – Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DOH-TRC) Bicutan, held a one-day Basic Automotive Preventive Maintenance and Servicing training on March 18, 2025, at Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City. The activity was attended by 25 patients, with TESDA Trainer Mr. Jervin G. Yambao facilitating the hands-on sessions on engine oil changing and brake pad replacement.
The training aimed to equip participants with basic automotive skills, supporting their rehabilitation and future livelihood opportunities. This initiative also promoted TESDA’s tech-voc programs while emphasizing the role of skills training in empowering individuals for reintegration into society.
Both TESDA RTC-NCR and DOH-TRC Bicutan expressed commitment to future collaborations to provide more training that will help patients gain productive skills for their transition post-rehabilitation.
