On April 13, 2026, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority – Regional Training Center – National Capital Region (TESDA RTC-NCR) and the Technological University of the Philippines – Taguig Campus (TUP-Taguig) renewed their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding held at the TESDA NCR Regional Office. The activity was led by TESDA NCR Regional Director Angelina M. Carreon, CESO III, together with Jerry O. Taroy, Supervising TESD Specialist, and Gerardo Mercado, MunTiParLasTaPat District Director. Representing TUP-Taguig were Engr. Rexmelle F. Decapia, Jr., Campus Director; Emmanuel L. Ferrer, Assistant Director for Research and Extension; and Ivan Ray G. Ancero, Program Coordinator.

The renewal of the Memorandum of Agreement reaffirms the shared commitment of TESDA RTC-NCR and TUP-Taguig to strengthen collaboration in research and development, capability-building activities, and extension programs that support technical-vocational education and training. Through this continuing partnership, both institutions aim to advance knowledge-sharing, institutional capacity development, and industry-responsive initiatives that contribute to the enhancement of TVET delivery and the development of a more competent and future-ready workforce.
