TESDA Regional Training Center – NCR successfully conducted a one-day training on Basic Automotive Preventive Maintenance and Servicing for 10 personnel and 15 PDLs of BJMP-MMDJ Annex 2 on March 13, 2025, at BJMP-NCR Compound, Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City. Led by Trainer Jervin G. Yambao, the training focused on changing engine oil and replacing brake pad/shoe components, equipping participants with essential automotive maintenance skills.
The initiative aimed to enhance technical skills among BJMP personnel and PDLs, promoting Tech-Voc education and workforce readiness. Through hands-on learning, participants gained practical experience in basic vehicle servicing, reinforcing the BJMP’s mandate of facilitating the rehabilitation and reintegration of PDLs into society. This training provided them with valuable competencies that could help in future employment opportunities.

The successful collaboration between TESDA RTC-NCR and BJMP-MMDJ Annex 2 highlights the importance of vocational education in rehabilitation programs. Moving forward, TESDA RTC-NCR remains committed to offering more skill-based training programs, further expanding opportunities for PDLs and personnel to develop expertise that supports their professional and personal growth.
