The TESDA Regional Training Center – NCR (RTC-NCR), in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) NCR Taguig City, successfully conducted a Fire Safety Seminar and Drill on March 26, 2026, in line with the observance of National Women’s Month and Fire Prevention Month. The activity aimed to enhance awareness and preparedness among trainees and personnel in responding to fire-related emergencies. The seminar covered essential topics such as fire prevention measures, proper use of fire extinguishers, and basic emergency response procedures. This was followed by an actual fire drill simulation to reinforce the practical application of the knowledge gained.



The activity was attended by trainees from PV Systems Installation NC II, RAC Servicing (DomRAC) NC II, Mechatronics Servicing NC III, and Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I, along with TESDA RTC-NCR personnel. Active participation was observed throughout the activity, demonstrating the participants’ engagement and willingness to learn. The collaboration with BFP NCR Taguig City contributed significantly to the success of the event, ensuring that participants were equipped with relevant and life-saving skills.
Overall, the activity achieved its objectives of promoting safety awareness and strengthening emergency preparedness within the
training center.
