The Financial Literacy Seminar conducted on March 17, 2026, was successfully organized by TESDA RTC-NCR in partnership with Bank of the Philippine Islands and the BPI Foundation. The activity was attended by Ships Catering Services NC I trainees, who actively participated in discussions on financial management, savings, and responsible handling of personal finances. The seminar aimed to equip trainees with essential financial knowledge and practical skills to support their personal and
professional growth.
In addition to the seminar, a BPI booth was set up to facilitate the BPI Pamana Savings Account enrollment, which catered not only to the trainees but also to TESDA NCR employees. The on-site account opening provided a convenient opportunity for participants to immediately apply their learnings by starting their own savings accounts.
Overall, the activity was well-received and contributed to promoting financial inclusion and awareness among the participants.
