Visited Tartufo Ristorante in BGC, Taguig City last June 1, 2023 to finalize the partnership with G&P (Garlic and Peppermill) Food Groups regarding the Supervised Industry Learning (SIL) for Ship’s Catering Services NC I graduates.
There are 25 trainess of Ship’s Catering Services NC I that will be conducting their SIL Program in the restaurants of G&P Food Groups. We met with G&P Group Head, Mr. June Hebrew together with Ms. Sheena Belmonte, HR Head and Ms. Kristine Bitanga, Restaurant Operation Manager. RTC-NCR representatives present was Mr. Nico Nuevo, Senior TESD II specialist and Rita Gamboa, TESD II specialist.
We finalized and discussed the details of the SIL Program including the details of the hours required for the trainees to finish their program. We also discussed the schedule and restaurant assignment of the trainees. The G&P Group Head and HR Head expressed their support for the program and are ready to provide assistance needed for the trainees during their on-the-job training. They will deploy trainees in their 4 branches at Tartufo Ristorante at The Grove, Rockwell, Pasig City, BGC, Taguig City, Greenbelt 5, Makati City, and Bueno Tapas & Wine Restaurant at The Grove. It was immediately followed by a Zoom Meeting scheduled for 02 June 2023 for the initial screening of the trainees that was conducted by the HR Head, Ms. Sheena Bel Monte.
