First-ever Micro Credential Course of TESDA in the Philippines conducted at 𝐑𝐓𝐂-𝐍𝐂𝐑

The Regional Training Center – NCR in its quest to address the immediate skills needs in the Automotive Sector has developed a course adapting one of the sector’s new technologies entitled Performing Periodic Maintenance Transmission using Automatic Transmission Dialysis Machine (leading to Automotive Servicing NC I) and was pilot implemented by the Center.

This 3-day training program of RTC-NCR consists of topics on Types of automatic transmission fluid; Personal Protective equipment used in dealing with automatic transmission fluids; Proper disposal of used automatic transmission fluid; Parts of Automatic transmission changer machine; and Function of Automatic transmission changer machine.

A short Closing Ceremony was conducted which was graced by the presence of the Regional Director of TESDA-NCR, Engr. Jovencio M. Ferrer Jr. who expressed his delight as RTC-NCR was the first to implement a Micro Credential Course and urged the Center to developed more MCCs as way to respond to the fast-paced social, economic, and technological changes in the domestic and international domains relevant to the demands of the industries.

Finally, the RTC-NCR with the headship of its Center Administrator Gilbert Castro will open new MCC programs this time targeting the Construction and the HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) Sectors to be offered primarily to the working sector of country.
