Leo Neil F. Famadico: A Testament to the Power of Upskilling with TESDA

Leo Neil F. Famadico’s journey with TESDA began in 2020 when he learned about the agency through the partnership between Daikin Airconditioning Philippines Inc. and TESDA RTC-NCR. At the time, the collaboration was still in its early stages, but it marked the beginning of his path to professional growth.

Recognizing the need to enhance his skills as a trainer, Leo Neil chose to enroll in the Trainers Methodology Level I (TM1) program. His motivation was clear: to effectively manage and facilitate training programs within his company. The program proved to be instrumental in his career, equipping him with essential knowledge in training facilitation, particularly in Training Needs Analysis (TNA)—a crucial process in identifying and addressing skills gaps among trainees.

The impact of his TESDA training was immediate and transformative. By applying the principles of TM1, he was able to refine the training strategies at Daikin, ensuring that their programs met industry demands. His enhanced capabilities did not go unnoticed. From being a Senior Training Engineer, he was promoted to Training Supervisor—a career milestone that also led to international opportunities, including training assignments in Malaysia and Japan.
