On March 25, 2024, a meeting was conducted with (Developer of Electric Conveyances Corporation) DECC PH, an Automotive manufacturer and distributor specializing in Electric Vehicles (EVs), and TESDA Regional Training Center-NC held at Regional Training Center NCR. Collaborating a shared vision of advancing sustainable mobility solutions, the meeting is a step towards addressing the evolving landscape of transportation, particularly in light of the emergence of electric motorcycles as a viable alternative.
DECC PH, leveraging its expertise and resources, pledged to play a proactive role in addressing the skills gap by offering opportunities for students in Mechatronics Servicing NC III through the Supervised Industry Learning program. This initiative not only aims to equip individuals with the requisite skills for servicing electric vehicles but also aligns with broader efforts to cultivate a workforce proficient in sustainable solutions.
As the meeting concluded, collaborative efforts were identified as paramount in navigating the multifaceted challenges and accelerating the transition towards emerging technology.
