On April 30, 2023, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) spearheads the yearβs Labor Day Celebration on April 30, 2023, themed: βPabahay, Bilihing Abot-Presyo, Benepisyo ng Matatag na Trabaho Para sa Manggagawang Pilipinoβ at SMX Convention Center in Pasay City which was graced by His Excellency, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
The pivotal event includes activities such as Job and Business Fair; Kadiwa ng Pangulo para sa Manggagawa, Skills Demonstration, Government Help Desk, and Assistance which was opened to the public.
During the event, the Regional Training Center β NCR thru the headship of Center Administrator Gilbert Castro represented TESDA and showcased the Centerβs advanced equipment for learning and development which includes the following: Industry Automation (Mechatronics and Robotics), Extended Reality (XR)-based technology simulators for Welding and fabrication, Solar-powered chest-type freezer, and Visual graphic design demonstration.
The said learning technologies were personally explained and demonstrated by the trainers of RTC-NCR during the exhibit which drew many and gained interest among the visitors in enrolling in the courses offered by the Training Center.
The showcased equipment is part of the learning materials that RTC-NCR is using in its training to be at par with the fast-paced technologies in line with the industry standards producing relevant skilled workers.
