Representatives from TESDA Regional Training Center–NCR conducted a benchmarking visit to DEYE Inverter Technology Co. Ltd. in Ningbo, China on October 27-29, 2025. The activity aimed to observe industry standards in solar energy technologies and gather operational best practices relevant to RTC-NCR’s training programs. The delegation met with key DEYE personnel and toured the company’s facilities to understand their production systems and training frameworks.
The visit highlighted DEYE’s strong implementation of structured workplace systems, including its 6S policy for maintaining cleanliness, efficiency, and safety. The team also observed the presence of standardized signages and image-building materials that promote consistency within the work environment. DEYE shared its discipline framework through a clear violation and award system, along with a values-formation approach that emphasizes workmanship quality and accountability. The delegation also noted DEYE’s practice of patenting all research outputs locally and internationally.
Additionally, RTC-NCR trainers received hands-on exposure to Solar System Configuration and discussed the collaborative development of a courseware on Solar Installation using DEYE components.
The activity was attended by RTC-NCR personnel involved in training delivery and curriculum development. Both parties expressed interest in strengthening collaboration through future capacity-building programs and continued alignment on renewable energy competencies. The insights gathered from this visit are expected to support RTC-NCR’s enhancement of training standards and contribute to the development of industry-responsive programs in the renewable energy sector.
