TESDA Regional Training Center – NCR, in collaboration with MoveIt, conducted a Basic Motorcycle Preventive Maintenance and Servicing training for 23 women riders on March 20, 2025, at RTC-NCR Bldg. 9, PMS Facility, TESDA Complex, Taguig City.
Led by Trainer Eufemio Lunzaga Jr., the session provided hands-on training on engine oil change and CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) cleaning. The training aimed to equip women riders with basic motorcycle maintenance skills essential for their safety and daily operations. This initiative also supports the celebration of the 2025 National Women’s Month with the theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas”, promoting women empowerment and increasing awareness of TESDA’s tech-voc programs.
The successful event highlighted the commitment of TESDA RTC-NCR and MoveIt to providing women with relevant skills for their livelihood. Both organizations expressed interest in continuing partnerships to offer more programs supporting women’s inclusion in technical fields, contributing to a more empowered and skilled workforce in line with the Bagong Pilipinas vision.
