The representatives from the Department of Energy (DOE) conducted a site visit to RTC–NCR on February 18, 2025, as of an initial step to determine the readiness of the facilities of the center for the implementation of the renewable energy project focused on the PV systems installations.
During the visit, representatives from the DOE, Mr. Raven Cruz, RTC–NCR Vocational Instruction Supervisor Jery O. Taroy, and RTC–NCR Partnership and Linkages Focal Rita Mae P. Jordan-Gamboa discussed the execution of the Deed of Donation between RTC-NCR and DOE, which will support the implementation of the project. The visit also allowed both organizations to discuss the requirements and technical aspects of the project and the next steps for implementation.

The DOE reaffirmed its commitment to supporting training institutions in renewable energy development. On the other hand, RTC-NCR expressed its readiness to facilitate skills training for future PV system installers. Both parties emphasized the importance of continuous collaboration to ensure the success of the project. The visit concluded with a shared vision of promoting clean and sustainable energy through technical education.
