On January 24, 2024, an exploratory meeting took place with Jardine Schindler Philippines, a pioneer in the elevator and escalator industry. As the first ISO-certified company in the country, Jardine Schindler’s expertise in Mechatronics System. The meeting aimed to establish a partnership in Mechatronics Servicing NC III and Diploma programs.
Jardine Schindler Elevators and escalators, with their intricate systems comprising sensors, actuators, controllers, and mechanical components, epitomize the principles of mechatronics. Recognizing the importance of integrating practical knowledge into training programs, both parties discussed Industry exposure to the learners of TESDA Regional Training Center – NCR. The meeting concluded with plans to formalize a partnership through possible conducting of Dual Training Program and Supervised Industry Learning (SIL)to the learners of Mechatronics Servicing NC III and Diploma in Mechatronics Servicing and the possible employment of students after completing the training and assessment. This partnership seeks to enhance mechatronics education, aligning with Jardine Schindler’s legacy of excellence and innovation in the elevator and escalator industry.
