TESDA Regional Training Center – NCR, in collaboration with PAGCOR, conducted Four Days of Training on Basic Periodic Maintenance of Brake System from March 11 – 26, 2025, held at the PAGCOR Warehouse Imus, Cavite and led by TESDA Trainer, Mr. Robert T. Ong Jr.
These four days of training equip participants with essential knowledge and hands-on experience in basic periodic maintenance of the brake system. The program focuses on brake servicing procedures: troubleshooting and bleeding the brake system, and replacing brake pads and brake shoes. The training is designed to help learners understand fundamental automotive brake systems, apply safe servicing practices, and perform routine maintenance tasks that support vehicle safety and reliability.
Furthermore, this training strengthened the partnership between TESDA RTC-NCR and PAGCOR in maintaining safety standards on basic periodic maintenance of the brake system for the personnel of the Transport and Support Department. Both organizations expressed commitment to future initiatives that will continue to uplift all participants, supporting their role in building a more inclusive and progressive
society.
