Representatives from the Armed Forces of the Philippines- Philippine Airforce (AFP-PAF), paid a visit to TESDA Regional Training Center- NCR last February 26, 2024 to explore training opportunities for their personnel nearing retirement. The visit aimed to benchmark possibilities for sending Air Force personnel for training in various disciplines.
During the visit, the AFP delegation toured the Welding, Mechatronics, and PMS facilities at RTC-NCR. They engaged in discussions with RTC-NCR staff to understand the training programs available and how they could tailor to meet the needs of retiring personnels.
The visit highlighted the potential for collaboration between AFP and RTC-NCR in providing training program, by exploring options in welding, mechatronics, and preventive meintenence servicing, both parties sought to equip retiring personnel with valueable skills for their transition to civilian life. The visit served as an initial step towards forging partnerships between the AFP-PAF and RTC-NCR, with the shared goal of supporting Air Force personnel in their post-service careers through relevant training and skill development initiatives.
