The Applied Research Series Module 3: Patenting and Publication, held from November 7-9, 2023, served as a valuable continuation of the preceding training workshop, dedicated to bolstering the expertise of Research & Development personnel within the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority – National Capital Region (TESDA-NCR).
In collaboration with the Technological University of the Philippines – Taguig, the training aimed to cultivate advanced technical writing skills among the 22 participants, who notably comprised the same individuals engaged in the previous module on Technical Writing.
The module covered crucial topics such as Patent Drafting, Feedback and Evaluation Form Construction, Local Publication Processes, and International Journal Publication. The sessions were led by esteemed experts in their respective fields: Dr. Norway J. Pangan, Ms. Annaline P. Tanto, Ms. Lizzette P. Terania, and Dr. June Raymond Mariano. The collective knowledge imparted during these discussions undoubtedly contributed to the participants’ enhanced capabilities and will likely have a positive impact on the quality of research output from TESDA-NCR’s R&D team.
