To boost its post-training assistance program among the graduates of TESDA technology institutions and private tech-voc schools offering construction courses, TESDA-National Capital Region held the first Jobs Bridging Program in cooperation with the Engineering Equipment Incorporated (EEI) Corp. last May 25, 2023, at the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) facility of Regional Training Center-NCR.
An elated TESDA Director General Danilo Cruz exhorted TESDA-NCR and its RTC to organize the same activity in August in time for the Agency’s 29th Anniversary celebration to open more job opportunities among TESDA graduates.
A total of 72 graduates of masonry, tile setting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical installation, welding, and mechatronics joined the activity which was organized by the RTC-NCR in coordination with TESDA-NCR technology institutions.
At least five (5) applicants were hired on the spot: two are graduates of Plumbing NC II from TESDA Women’s Center; two (2) graduates of Tile Setting NC II from MuntiParLasTaPat District Training and Assessment Center (MDTAC), and a graduate of Carpentry NC II from Pasay-Makati District Training and Assessment Center (PMDTAC). More than 20 hopefuls were deemed qualified but need to undergo the two-week training under EEI Corp.
