GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

GOALSย 

โ— To develop and implement modern and responsive TVET programs and services based on the demands of the industry and other TVET stakeholders in the region;ย 

โ— To forge, nurture and sustain strategic alliance and partnerships with the industry and other TVET stakeholders;ย 

โ— To expand, nurture and sustain competency assessment and certification programs and services to address the demands of industry workers, TVET trainers, and graduates;ย 

โ— To institutionalize and strengthen research and development, and innovation capabilities; andย 

โ— To establish and sustain a system of quality in governance and management of the Center to enhance its relevance and efficiency and to boost its function as a knowledge resource center.ย 

OBJECTIVESย 

โ— To develop, register and implement at least 15 courses under PQF Levels 3-5 and micro-credential programs based on the demands of key industries and TVET stakeholders in the next five years;ย 

โ— To address the trainersโ€™ lack of competencies to develop and deliver higher level qualifications that are aligned with the standards of the industries, world skills, and the two accords for engineering technicians and technologists in the next five years;ย 

โ— To sustain acquisition and utilization of modern learning systems to further boost training delivery and research and development in each fiscal year;ย 

โ— To forge at least five (5) new partnership agreements that focuses on technical cooperation among industries and higher education institutions in the next five years; 57ย 

โ— To forge at least 10 new partnership agreements with national government agencies, local government units, and other non-government organizations to advocate and implement TESDA sa Barangay in the next five years;ย 

โ— To sustain relevance as accredited competency assessment center by developing at least 10 additional programs along PQF Levels 3-4 qualifications in the next five years;ย 

โ— To apply for the TESDA Seal of Integrity for Assessment Center Awards each year to institutionalize quality, integrity, and innovations in the delivery of competency assessment and certification programs and services;ย 

โ— To conduct research and development and innovations across all program offerings in the next five years;ย 

โ— To establish an R&D agenda in coordination with NITESD, World Skills, TVET Advisory Council, and industry boards for new program development with focus on the local industry road maps and skills needs of priority industries before the end of FY 2024;ย 

โ— To address the gaps on the trainersโ€™ training for higher-level qualifications to include their own R&D projects, industry immersion, and upgrading of competency assessment tools in the next five years;ย 

โ— To nurture and sustain implementation of quality management system to boost the Centerโ€™s effectiveness and efficiency from 2024 onwards;ย 

โ— To employ strategic approaches in addressing the lack of capital outlay for facilities improvement and upskilling of trainers from 2024 onwards; andย 

โ— To establish purposive collaboration with the four (4) TTIs and specialized centers in the TESDA Complex, and the NTTA re: planning, development, and implementation of higher-level.
