TESDA Regional Training Center – NCR, in collaboration with Philippine Army Task Group Bantay, conducted a seminar on Defensive Driving and Road Safety Training on April 30, 2026 held at Regional Training Center, NCR, TESDA, Bldg. 14, Gate-2 TESDA Complex, East Service Road, Taguig City. Led by TESDA Trainer Mr. Robert T. Ong Jr.
This was conducted to strengthen participants’ competencies in defensive driving techniques, with particular emphasis on strict adherence to traffic rules and regulations. Key topics included proper observance of road markings, traffic signals, right-of-way rules, speed limits, and safe following distances. The session addressed practical strategies for avoiding road rage, such as maintaining composure under
stressful driving conditions, practicing patience and courtesy toward other road users
and applying self-discipline at all times.
The activity reinforced the partnership between TESDA RTC-NCR and the Philippine Army Task Group Bantay in promoting transport safety and operational readiness. It emphasized the consistent application of defensive driving, strict compliance withtraffic rules, and disciplined driving behavior to prevent accidents and road rage incidents.
