TESDA Regional Training Center – NCR, in collaboration with EMB CALABARZON, conducted One-day Training on Performing OBD Scanner Operation and Diagnostic Procedures on April 27, 2026 held at TESDA RTC-NCR, Building 14, gate 2, TESDA complex, Taguig City. Led by TESDA Trainer Mr. Robert T. Ong Jr.
The training session focused on enhancing the participants’ knowledge and technical competencies in the proper use of OBD scanners and the application of standard diagnostic procedures. Emphasis was placed on accurate fault detection, interpretation of diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), and adherence to correct servicing practices to support effective vehicle maintenance.
This activity strengthened the collaboration between TESDA RTC-NCR and EMB CALABARZON by promoting consistent implementation of preventive maintenance and diagnostic protocols among personnel. The training contributed to improving vehicle reliability, minimizing operational downtime, and ensuring safety in daily operations.
