TESDA Regional Training Center – NCR, in collaboration with the Department of Budget and Management, conducted One Day Training on Basic Automotive Preventive Maintenance and Servicing on November 29, 2025, held at the Department of Budget and Management Central Office, San Miguel, Manila and led by TESDA Trainer, Mr. Robert T. Ong Jr.
This one-day training equips participants with essential knowledge and hands-on
experience in basic automotive preventive maintenance. The program focuses on two key servicing procedures: changing engine oil and replacing brake pads and brake shoes. The training is designed to help learners understand fundamental automotive systems, apply safe servicing practices, and perform routine maintenance tasks that support vehicle safety and reliability.
Furthermore, this training strengthened the partnership between TESDA RTC-NCR and the Department of Budget and Management in maintaining safety standards on basic automotive preventive maintenance and servicing for the personnel from different department of DBM. Both organizations expressed commitment to future initiatives that will continue to uplift all participants, supporting their role in building a more inclusive and progressive society.
