On May 20, 2025, the TESDA RTC-NCR conducted a one-day training on Basic Motorcycle/Small Engine Preventive Maintenance and Servicing training for DOH Drug Dependent Individuals at DOH TRC Bicutan. Led by Trainer Eufemio R. Lunzaga Jr. the session equipped DOH Drug Dependent Individuals at DOH TRC Bicutan with hands-on skills in changing engine oil and cleaning CVT components of a motorcycle to support their rehabilitation and reintegration.

This initiative highlights TESDA-RTC NCR’s Commitment to inclusive skills development, providing DOH Drug Dependent Individuals with basic motorcycle preventive maintenance knowledge and develop skills that enhances their future employability. Through hands-on learning, participants gained valuable technical skills that can contribute to livelihood opportunities post incarceration.
With the success of this training, TESDA-RTC NCR and DOH TRC look forward to expanding similar programs to further empower DOH Drug Dependent Individuals through vocational education, reinforcing the role of skills training rehabilitation and reintegration.
