On May 21, 2025, the TESDA RTC-NCR conducted a one-day training on Basic Motorcycle/Small Engine Preventive Maintenance and Servicing at PTCCC Tesda Compound Taguig City. Led by Trainer Eufemio R. Lunzaga Jr. the session equipped Grab Drivers with hands-on skills in changing engine oil and cleaning CVT components of a motorcycle to support and enhance the knowledge of Grab Drivers about maintaining their service motorcycle.

This initiative highlights TESDA-RTC NCR’s Commitment to inclusive skills development, providing Grab Driver’s with basic motorcycle preventive maintenance knowledge and develop skills to perform routine maintenance task and improved safety. Through hands-on learning, participants gained valuable technical skills to be a responsible owner/driver for ensuring regular maintenance performed on their motorcycle.
With the success of this training, TESDA-RTC NCR and Grab look forward to expanding similar programs to further empower Grab Driver’s through vocational education, reinforcing the role of skills training in preventive maintenance and safety.
